I hate how wishy-washy Star Wars is about the Jedi. They consistently highlight their flaws, but never condemn them outright. It's like they can't decide whether to portray the whole 'let go of attachment' thing as good or bad.
It's very frustrating. With The Clone Wars, I sort of get the feeling that either there were disagreements among the writers, or Lucasfilm kept using veto power and asking them to re-write stuff. Certainly, there were some people who got it and some who didn't.
